Laugh and Learn About Breastfeeding
Although Breastfeeding is a natural process, it is mostly a learned art. Obstacles are the norm, but it is the best start that a mother can give her new baby. Breastfeeding benefits both mothers and babies, it protects babies from disease, and women who have nursed have substantially lower rates of breast cancer. Like the other two video classes in this series, ‘Laugh and Learn About Childbirth’ and ‘Laugh and Learn About Newborn Baby Care’, ‘Laugh and Learn About Breastfeeding’ is a comprehensive, fun and entertaining way to learn everything you need to know to have a pleasant Breastfeeding experience. On her new DVD, Sheri Bayles, RN shares her experiences, gives tips and strategies to avoid Breastfeeding obstacles, explains latch on, holds and positions, especially for breastfeeding twins, pumping, diet, and setting up a schedule that let’s you get a good night of sleep. Best of all, in her class you get to watch and learn with real live demonstrations of all the techniques.

Customer Review: Entertaining & Informative
This DVD shows various breastfeeding positions & gives a wealth of useful information. I would have preferred a little more in-depth information, but it is still well worth the time to watch this (especially if you are first-time parents). I purchased this & her newborn care DVD & found them both to be useful.
Customer Review: Not many laughs and only limited learning
This video was informative enough, but it’s brief, and really doesn’t have anything I haven’t seen on You Tube or other free sources. I was a little wary about the humor since the title is ‘Learn and Laugh About Breastfeeding’ after all, but Sheri Bayles is simply not funny, and at points it’s painful to watch. She’s clearly working hard to sell her schtick, but the purpose of the video is to get info on breastfeeding, not to allow an outlet for an obviously frustrated comedienne. She knows breastfeeding facts, and she’d do better to just give the information. Finally, it’d be a better video if they included more footage of real babies feeding, latching, etc., rather than focusing on the baby dolls and Sheri’s endless banter from the couch.

Customer Review: Delicious
One of the problems with being on a low carb diet is lack of “crunch”. This is the product that helps. The small package is also useful to stop overindulgence. This will be a staple in my house.
Customer Review: These are great!
I buy these crackers at my local HEB store, although they are cheaper here at Amazon. I find them to be healthy and satisfy my need for something crunchy. They are very filling as well and easily satisfy my hunger craving. They are very hard, more so than the average cracker, but that is part of the fun! Lastly, they taste great! What more can you ask for!

List Price: $37.99
Amazon Price: $16.75
Customer Review: Dreamlife Superstar
Although I don’t quite understand why, my nine year-old daughter loves this game. I have played it a few times and it just seems to drone on and on without any clear purpose. One thing that I do like is that it shows how you have to balance doing fun things with work and chores if you want to have spending money.
Customer Review: Dream Life …She wishes!
DreamLife Superstar is tons of fun for my eight yr old. No educational value since doing the dishes earns her $50.00 on this game. If that is not a shocker then how about $25.00 to take the dog for a walk. Complete fun and fantasy land but the game gets a lot of play.

Valeo Padded Lifting Straps
100% heavy duty cotton with comfortable neoprene padding Extra length and width for improved gripping Machine washable
List Price: $8.25
Amazon Price: $4.99
Customer Review: a solid product
These things are very solid, and I’ve noticed a large difference in what I’ve been able to deadlift with their help. I added 70 lbs to my max, just from the difference between my grip vs overall strength. The padding is good, the fit is comfortable, and they do their job. I can’t ask for more.
Customer Review: GREAT ITEM!
Item just as described! Shipped super quick. HOpe to do business with you again! Thank you! Happy New Year

Customer Review: If you saw it on PBS…
First let me say this is an excellent DVD. It gives good usable information. However, if you saw it on a PBS broadcast, then you have seen the whole thing. The extra question and answer session you get when you buy the dvd is not worth paying for, if thats your reason for buying it. I still think it is an excellent dvd to have so you can view it at your leisure to remind yourself of good healthy habits.
Customer Review: Save Your Money and Buy The Book!
Although the quality of information given on the DVD is excellent, it is grossly lacking in quantity. It contains less than 1/4 of what is in the book. This DVD does include a 30 minute Q & A session with some of the audience, which is only fair at best. However, you have to go online to take the Real Age Quiz, a fact I never could find mentioned in the description. Nothing really wrong with the meager Exercise Tips. For me, this was a case of more “sizzle” than “steak.” This production should have included the entire 130 or so recommendations as covered in the book, or it should have plainly said that it did not cover what the book does. This DVD is really just a promotion to get you to buy the book. Again,I found this to contain excellent information, just not enough to warrant buying this instead of the book.

Window Graphic - 16×54 Skiing is Life

May 4th, 2008

Window Graphic - 16×54 Skiing is Life
Design: Clearvue Graphics Surf and Snow Series Dimensions: 16×54 (Small Truck) See-through window graphics are printed on mechanically perforated vinyl. This vinyl has a sticky adhesive on one side, protected by a peel away release layer. This perforated material, known as window perf, is made by many companies around the United States. All see-through window graphics are printed on basically the same material. The difference between graphic companies is what they print on this material! The beauty of window perf is that it is incredibly low tech, comprised of 50% vinyl and 50% holes. Human eyes absorb light reflected from objects. When someone looks at the image on your window, their eyes absorb the light being reflected off of the printed image. The holes cannot be seen. The graphic looks like a solid image! The sticky side of the graphic which faces the glass, is black. Looking out from inside the vehicle, your eyes absorb light reflected off objects outside the vehicle, such as buildings, cars, trees, etc. Your eyes blend the black material on the inside with the images seen through the holes, creating the illusion that there is nothing on your window. The resulting effect will amaze you! These graphics apply to the outside of the window and will not effect, or be effected by window tints of factory window defrosters. PRIVACY AND UV PROTECTION Another benefit of having this material on your window is UV protection. ClearVue Graphics block 50% of the sun’s UV rays. These rays are responsible for fading vehicle interiors and heating the cab. ClearVue Graphics will keep your vehicle cooler and preserve the interior from fading. Because these graphics prevent outside viewing into your vehicle, you will enjoy a dramatic increase in privacy as you drive down the road, or while parked at a scenic location. PHOTOGRAPHS AND ILLUSTRATIONS ClearVue Graphics use high-resolution photographic images for many of our graphics. Our imag

Columbia Sportswear’s Men’s Steens Mountain Sweater Rugged looks combined with a soft and comfortable feel describes the Steens Mountain Sweater by Columbia Sportswear. The polyester MTR (Maximum Thermal Retention) fleece means it’s easy to clean, quick drying, and pill resistant. All in all, a lightweight zip-front sweater that’s designed to pack away in a corner of your suitcase for weekends or entire weeks in the snow and elements. With radial sleeves and a drawcord hem, you won’t be afraid to give it your all on a snowboard or the slalom course. Layer it under a windbreaker for cool evening strolls.

About Columbia Sportswear
Founded in 1938, Columbia Sportswear Company has grown from a small family-owned hat distributor to one of the world’s largest outerwear brands and the leading seller of ski-wear in the United States. Columbia’s extensive product line includes a wide variety of outerwear, sportswear, rugged footwear and accessories. Columbia specializes in developing innovative products that are functional yet stylish and offer great value. Eighty-year-old matriarch Gert Boyle, Chairman of the Board, and her son, Tim Boyle, President and CEO, lead the company.

Columbia’s history starts with Gert’s parents, Paul and Marie Lamfrom, when they fled Germany in 1937. They bought a small hat distributorship in Portland, Oregon, and named it Columbia Hat Company, after the river bordering the city. Soon frustrated by poor deliveries from suppliers, the Lamfroms decided to start manufacturing products themselves. In 1948, Gert married college sweetheart Neal Boyle, who joined the family business and later took the helm of the growing company. When Neal suddenly died of a heart attack in 1970, Gert enlisted help from Tim, then a college senior. After that, it wasn’t long before business really started to take off. Columbia was one of the first companies to make jackets from waterproof/breathable fabric. They introduced the breakthrough technology called the Columbia Interchange System, in which a shell and liner combine for multiple wearing options. In the early 1980s, then 60-year-old Gert began her role as “Mother Boyle” in Columbia’s successful and popular advertising campaign.

The company went public in 1998 and moved into a new era as a world leader in the active outdoor apparel industry. Today, Columbia Sportswear employs more than 1,800 people around the world and distributes and sells products in more than 50 countries and to more than 12,000 retailers internationally.

Garmin GSC 10 Speed Cadence Sensor for Edge and Forerunner Series (010-10644-00) A good companion for Garmin’s Edge 305 and 305CAD cycle computers and the Garmin Forerunner 305 personal trainer, the GSC 10 monitors your cycling rhythm for up-to-the-minute results and later analysis. The self-calibrating, wireless unit measures both speed (in pedaling strokes per minute) and cadence , then provides feedback to the user for optimal performance. You can later feed the results to Garmin’s Training Center software, which helps you tailor your workouts to meet specific goals and objectives.

Like the Garmin heart rate monitor, the GSC 10 attaches easily to your bike, where its sensors detect signals from your wheels and send the information wirelessly to your personal trainer/cycle computer. It’s also backed by a one-year warranty.
Customer Review: Really “slick”
I actually really like this add-on to the garmin system. It is small, light weight, reads very accurately (does not need a satellite reading) and can be used both indoors and outside. As it attaches to the rear chain-stay on the crank side, I get both speed and cadence when on the trainer. It is exceptionally easy to set up (can be customized to wheel circumference) and can be adjusted for 3 bikes. I put bike mounts on my other two bikes so I can switch off as needed. It works just like any other wireless cycling computer and the settings on the Forerunner 305 give plenty of info as did my Polar CS200. Well worth the cost.
Customer Review: Great product. Unexpected additional functionality.
I was hesitant to buy this unit since I already owned a reliable cyclometer with cadence. I own the Forerunner 305, not the Edge unit, so biking was not my main concern. However, now that I use my Forerunner for biking too, I wanted this unit so that I could download cadence data with my other measures from the Forerunner. It works great for that purpose. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that when riding indoors on my trainer with GPS turned off, the Forerunner reports SPEED and DISTANCE as well. Of course, it’s not entirely accurate depending on gearing and such, but it is a nice measure to have that I didn’t expect. Great unit. A little pricey at $40ish but once you have it, you forget about what you paid.
