DietMaster 2100 V8 is like having your own private sports nutrition counselor! Enter your personal profile to calculate your calorie needs and select from ready-to-print lean body builder meal plans and grocery lists designed by our team of professional athletes and registered dietitians. DietMaster 2100 also provides you the ability to analyze your eating habits to identify caloric intake and nutrient deficiencies. Set your goal weight and estimate the date you will reach your goal. Track your body symmetry measurements including arms, shoulders, waist, hips, thighs and more. Use the Body Composition screen to save historical body weight and body fat data and graph progress over 3 months, six months or one year. ** A note from our Registered Dietitan about the meal plans included in this porgram: These menus will help you follow a diet that contains low glycemic foods. Most of the foods contained in these menus have a glycemic index of around 50 or less. Following a diet full of lower glycemic foods can help keep your blood sugar level from falling too rapidly. Low glycemic foods do not cause your body to release as much insulin into your bloodstream and as a result are broken down over a longer period of time. The result is a longer, steadier release of energy, helping you to feel more alert and energetic through your day. The new DietMaster 2100 Plus edition includes a Fitness Assessment Module for evaluating ones overall fitness condition including cardiovascular, flexibility, strength and body composition. IMPORTANT: DietMaster 2100 Plus editions are not designed for professional use. Certain personal profile information cannot be changed once entered (e.g., birth date and gender). DietMaster 2100 and other DietMaster products are not intended to replace the expert advice of a medical practitioner and are not designed to treat diseases of any kind.

Customer Review: DVD Menu not included
This DVD does not have a menu. It is very difficult and time consuming to navigate to the exercises on the DVD. While the results may be worth the investment in this DVD, the quality isn’t. In this age of high technology I expected a quality DVD in exchange for my money.
Customer Review: Happy Customer
I was diagnosed with a degenerative disc disease years ago. I have had flare ups of back pain that kept me from life and work. I have always dealt with stiffness and discomfort. It was a common occurrance to have pain when I’d bend forward and when I first got up in the morning. I am in week 3 of this program and I have been feeling much better. I have a lot less discomfort than when I began this program. This program is very relaxing at first, then gradually steps it up in intensity. I was very skeptical and afraid of hurting myself more by doing this program. Needless to say my fears were for nothing. I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a gentle, relaxing way to reduce or eliminate their back discomfort. I can hardly wait to get home every day so that I can “do” my exercises. Thank you Dr. Melleby!
8 Weeks to Optimum Health
Andrew Weil, M.D., a graduate of Harvard Medical School who has become a celebrity for advocating a “balanced lifestyle” of “body, mind, and spirit,” provides energetic lectures advocating an eight-week program that will lead the viewer to a healthier life. Standing before an attentive audience, Weil is an engaging lecturer, relying often on commonsense analogies while avoiding medical jargon. As the director of the Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona’s medical school, Weil doesn’t discount traditional medicine. But he notes that our bodies can get “knocked out of balance,” making them more susceptible to illness, and so a program combining exercise, diet, vitamins, and meditation can make us more resilient. As Weil puts it, “Resilience is our greatest ally, and it can be worked on.” Though Weil’s thought may seem somewhat ethereal at first, he presents his eight-week program very practically, beginning with tips on what to eat (and what to avoid), and proceeds to offer advice on exercise, how to handle stress, and related topics. Weil is intelligent and articulate, with a gift for delivering complicated ideas simply, and in this video he comes across as an engaging teacher. –Robert J. McNamara

Customer Review: Easy to Understand Basics of Nutrition & Health
I have been in Health & Nutrition for over 20 years. I have met and conversed with Dr. Weil in Seattle, WA., and I am a strong believer in his theories and scientific, factual information about food, eating, and the way the human body processes food. I have been sharing this “way of thinking” for years. I find it to be the most basic way of explaining to people where they should start when wanting to improve their lifestyle. So many diets, so many people telling you what, how, why and when to eat. The information Andrew Weil shares can be understood easily by many, even the most resistant of your acquaintances, friends and family. I highly suggest this video for anyone wanting to help themselves, and help others help themselves as well!
Customer Review: Thought provoking, entertaining, down to Earth
Dr. Weil is on the cusp of a new age of societal medicine that will be sweeping the Western industrialized world in the new millennium. His ideas are backed by his own experience and teachings. There is nothing out of the ordinary to his logic or content. A very enjoyable hour of viewing for the first sitting. I’m sure, like everything else we do, another viewing will bring out something we missed in the earlier viewing.
