Customer Review: Before you eat that steak….
The general premise in Michael Pollan’s book about industrial agriculture being a brutal and corrupt business is not news to me. But he did manage to make my eyes open even wider and stop and consider what is going on in this country in regards to the raising and slaughter of our farm animals. This is not a book that aims to necessarily convert people to vegetarians, but rather to educate the reader about the many reasons why they should stop and consider just where their food is coming from and how it is being raised. Also explores the difference between the “organic” food movement and real organic sustainable farming. Pollan goes on his own personal journey to look at the process of meat eating, and encourages all meat eaters to do the same. If you are going to eat meat, it’s your obligation to consider the life of the animal that is feeding you. This is not a book just for vegetarians but for anyone who is interested in the politics of agriculture, the health and quality of the food they put in their mouth, and anyone who has respect for the creatures we rely upon to be a bulk of our American diet.

Michael Pollan traced the origins of our present-day “square-meals” as he wallowed across the fertile cornfields of Iowa. His approach might not have been strictly scientific; yet, it was all the while insightful. In fact, some of his inferences would attract applause from even the most skeptical dietitian.

wow, i have used up my bottles, took all the horse pills on time , watched my diet , lifted like a freak …and ta da! nothing, i look the same maybe even smaller now then before i started using this product… the worse thing that muscletech does besides lying to u about the results is having the nereve to charge 60 bucks plus shipping for this garbage. Mr. juiceman himself jay cutler endorses this only because he is smart and takes there huge amout of money by endorsing it knowing he never has or ever will (roids) use any supplement from muscletech…save ur money ppl…work harder in the gym cause this will not help u gain any mass whatsoever

Customer Review: Good for the price
I’ve used this for two days now and I’m satisfied. It is cheaper than the competitors that I have seen but, judging by the reviews, it seems to offer the same functionality. It’s simple to use and counts calories, fat, carbs; keeps a diary to keep track of everything day by day. The downside is it doesn’t have a lot of the foods that you might expect. For those foods you input them once, name them, and then it stores them for future use. Over the course of a couple of weeks I would guess you would have most everything in there that you want. In the end, it gives you a pretty accurate picture of how many calories you are consuming. I have found it is very helpful in finding substitutes for the worst things I eat.

I rented this through Netflix, so had no access to any additional materials that might have been included with it (eye chart, for example). The only suggestion for improvement I would make is: have a separate workout on the DVD. While Mr. Schneider does go into how long to do each individual exercise when teaching, it would be nice to have a complete, real-time run through on the DVD. The exercises/warm-up he has you go through before you do any of the eye exercises could also be used as a gentle, yet energizing warm up for other physical exercise–a welcome and unexpected bonus.

This is a very good set of book and dvd with easy to follow instructions. You learn a lot about eyes, body and mind cooperation. It makes you to respect the best organs of your senses.THE EYES!
