Customer Review: My daughter loves it
I was little concerned about what we might get, since we bought this boom box without first seeing it in a store. We are happily surprised, and our 3 year old daughter simply loves it.

Pros:

1. It’s easy to use: our daughter can easily load CDs, play/change tracks; the buttons are large and easy to press

2. It seems pretty durable, even if it’s mostly plastic

3. Sound quality is good for the price.

Cons:

1. Some of the controls (volume, on/off) seem a bit oddly placed

Other thoughts:

–It has a cassette player?? Who still has cassettes?

I think it’s a winner for the price, especially given the amount of cheapo

items flooding the market these days. I’d recommend this to a friend.

This pink Hello kitty radio is cute for kids. It also works great. The sound seems good and it has cd, radio and cassette for any of their listening materials to work on. My 6 year old daughter keeps it in her room and loves to listen to it and it is also very portable and compact.

Customer Review: I really like this cookbook!
I know there is a lot of craziness out there about this cookbook and author, but as a busy mom I could care less. I bought this cookbook because it was at Costco. I REALLY like it. I made the meatloaf just last night for my family and they loved it. The tastes are grown up enough for my husband and myself, but my kids like it too. The recipes are easy to make and use normal ingredients. We had the chicken salad for lunch the other day and it was a hit. I would recommend one thing though - instead of using all those baggies to freeze the purees I use my silicone muffin pan and store all the little frozen veggie “muffins” in one big freezer bag (one bag for each type) and it seems to work great. Less waste. I think you’ll like this book if you buy it and you can tweak the recipes to fit your families tastes.

She has a lot of great ideas for kid-focused foods. Easy-to-use format. Even those not very comfortable in the kitchen will not find this book difficult or intimidating. If you’re looking for haute cuisine, look elsewhere. If you’re looking for healthy, realistic food your kids will eat, this is a good place to start.

I do not know how the product itself is because I gave it to my sister for Christmas. However, the company said it would be delivered on or by Dec 24 if I ordered on Dec 17 (which I did). It did not come until Dec 26. So, on Christmas day I had to tell my sister what her Christmas present was but that I did not have it yet. This was part of a Sushi making kit that I was putting together for her and some of the other items in it were from this company too.

This is very good roasted seaweed. Excellent, in fact. Most companies just dry their seaweed but let me tell you, they are lazy and really don’t know seaweed. See, that’s the problem with most of the world today, laziness! I can remember a time when companies and people cared about going the extra mile, when quality still mattered. It’s a shame. Everyone is all about speed and convenience, speed and convenience. It’s like we’re all on treadmills or really fast escalators or something quick and automated like that. Customer Review: Very Soothing Voice and Music
I would have to disagree with Karen K who said the voice and music were irratating. I found the narrators’ voice to be extremely soothing and the music to be beneficial and relaxing. In fact, for all the hypnosis tapes I’ve ever used, this is by far the most relaxing. I’m able to go into an extremely deep trance and always come out with the suggestion at the end (that’s how I know I didn’t just fall asleep). I only gave it 4 stars so far, but will update it in a couple of weeks when I see how well it works. I’ve been using it twice a day for two days, today is the third, and haven’t seen any changes in my appetite or eating yet. It says to use it for 21 days. I don’t know if that means you’ll only see significant results after 21 days, or what, but I’ll keep this review updated to let you know if I’ve lost any weight. If not, then at least I have had some incredibly relaxing sessions while I’m listening to the tape. Day Five: I found when I went to the market I chose only healthy foods and stayed away from the junk food without even thinking about it. I checked the fat content on all food even if it said “light” or “low fat.” When I saw chocolate and thought I’d like some it was immediately followed up with the thought that I didn’t want to buy it. The hardest part is getting out of the store without the junk in the cart. At home, I’ve noticed I have not wanted to eat between meals.

After having so much success with Trevor’s cd “Your Power Within” I had to try “Relax Your Way to Thin.” I’ve lost 17 pounds so far and it is fantastic! I’ve never wanted to say I’m on a “diet” and I didn’t really want to change my eating habits. But, after listening to the cd, my whole attitude about food and healty eating habits started changing. It made me realize that I wasn’t denying myself anything by eating healthier, I was actually giving myself more. The weight started coming off, I’m feeling great and I’m sleeping soundly. Customer Review: Best abs workout I’ve ever used. This actually works
This DVD has amazed me with almost immediate results. I saw a HUGE difference once I started on the regimen. Not only does it show you how to eat (which in itself is very loose and are basically just guidelines on how to eat), but most importantly it gives you a abs workout regimen for some rock hard abs. Not only that, but they have different workouts for beginners, intermediates, and experts. I used to kill myself doing 300 sit-ups within 30 minutes and I still would not get half as good results as this workout that probably takes 15 minutes at most. It REALLY burns off that stubborn, hard-to-burn belly fat (although it still won’t substitute a well-balanced diet). I mean, my love handles have basically disappeared. It truly targets your WHOLE core, including abdominals. This is why it is so effective and you don’t need any equipment. Save your money and avoid buying that ab cruncher machine. This DVD is all that you will ever need.

Customer Review: There’s no giving up with these DVDs!!!
Unlike her book, this DVD set is a blessing. I attend the gym 3 days a week in the morning, as well as run 2 miles a day at night, and all I have to say is that these DVD’s will make your muscles ache in places you didn’t know existed. But don’t be alarmed, it’s a good sort of pain hahaha. It will take some time to be able to keep up with her butt kicking, but it’s worth it in the end. You will sweat more and work more in 30 minutes then you normally would with an 1 ? session at the gym. The only downfall is that everything is fast paced. You will be hitting that pause and rewind button a few times before you get into the flow of things. Also, weights and a step board are essential in 4 of the 5 DVDs. If you are serious about pushing yourself AND ARE ALREADY A GYM ENTHUSIAST, these DVD’s are for you. If you’re a beginner to the whole workout routine, I honestly do not recommend these DVD’s purely for the lack of proper instruction on form (she assumes you already acquired it from being “gym-active” in the first place), and the speed she goes about between sets. But all in all, I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these DVDs!!!

This is the best thing since bread slicing machines. Just walk over to the trash can and it cheerfully opens for you! No more fumbling with the lid and trying to keep nasty gunk from getting all over as you do. I appreciate this quite a lot as I am deathly afraid of chicken germs and I have a 3 year old in the house who could easily touch a dirty trash bin if I had one around - luckily I no longer do! The 3 year old also enjoys the can and he takes great pride in helping throw away trash so he can use the can. He even thanks the can afterwards, which is very cute.

I do like this trash can, EXCEPT for the poorly fitted door to the battery holder. If I move the trash can, or if someone accidentally bumps it, the door becomes dislodged, and the batteries shift, losing their contact points. As a result, the can is no longer a “touchless” one. There is no damage to the door–it’s just a defect in the engineering and production. There’s no way to exchange it, as the postage to return it would cost too much. I’ve resorted to taping not only the door, but also the batteries. It is an annoying workaround. For this reason, I cannot recommend paying the price for this can unless you buy it locally and return it if yours, too, is defective.

Customer Review: The Essential Exercise Video
A must-own exercise video, in this Leslie takes you on a 25 minute intense aerobics workout. Using only basic exercise moves (kicking, side-stepping, kick backs and knee lifts, mostly), Sansone gets you out of your seat with fast-paced music, inspirational words for dieters and overly enthusiastic comments on how well you’re doing. In all fairness, nothing has helped me more than this video. I’ve been using this (varied with a twenty minute audio cassette also by Leslie- great for traveling) three times a week for two years. I lost the ten pounds I wanted to and haven’t gained an ounce back since, WITH NO DIET CHANGES!

The short duration of the tape is also encouraging, unlike a Richard Simmons (or most other similar workout tapes), you’re not dancing your buns off for upwards of an hour, it’s just 25 minutes!

A must-own way for getting a healthy, non-obsessive workout without leaving your living room.

I would highly recommend this tape to anyone that is just starting to exercise or has never exercised. It is so easy to do and follow. I have had knee surgery, and cannot do to much twisting or jumping, and this tape is just what I have been looking for. I will certainly purchase more of Leslie’s tapes in the future.

This video covers basics. …child proofing and how to assess how serious the injury is and what might have caused it. Car safety, pets, stings, sunburn, heat exhaustion/stroke, cold exposure, head injuries, falls, breaks/fractures, bumps, falls, burns, electrical burns, eye injuries and nose problems.

This contains video in all the segments - it is not a sit down lecture. It gives a list of things to look for and or to do for each of the things it covers. It also gives guidelines as to when you should call your doctor or EMS (the Emergency Medical Services).

I think this video is very useful, probably more so if you watch it every now and then for a refresher. I think it was well done. You can get all this information in a book, but if you are a visual learner you might appreciate seeing it.

Customer Review: First Electric Toothbrush and I’m loving it
This was my first electric toothbrush and after only two weeks of using it coffee stains are gone and my teeth are getting whiter every day. The Quad-Pacer (or whatever it is called) is a must and makes brushing your teeth much more consistent. Charger stand has a small foot print and the tooth brush already lasted a 3 day weekend at the ski hill without the charger. Highly recommended.

I bought this model as an upgrade to my old Sonicare (which gave me about 8 years of use!). The e7300 is greatly improved: faster brush; lighter handle; and tapered to reach backsides of teeth much better. After a week of using this model, my teeth feel like I’ve just had them cleaned at the dentist (but without the sore gums). Highly recommended and well worth the money, considering the benefits to oral health.

Customer Review: There’s no giving up with these DVDs!!!
Unlike her book, this DVD set is a blessing. I attend the gym 3 days a week in the morning, as well as run 2 miles a day at night, and all I have to say is that these DVD’s will make your muscles ache in places you didn’t know existed. But don’t be alarmed, it’s a good sort of pain hahaha. It will take some time to be able to keep up with her butt kicking, but it’s worth it in the end. You will sweat more and work more in 30 minutes then you normally would with an 1 ? session at the gym. The only downfall is that everything is fast paced. You will be hitting that pause and rewind button a few times before you get into the flow of things. Also, weights and a step board are essential in 4 of the 5 DVDs. If you are serious about pushing yourself AND ARE ALREADY A GYM ENTHUSIAST, these DVD’s are for you. If you’re a beginner to the whole workout routine, I honestly do not recommend these DVD’s purely for the lack of proper instruction on form (she assumes you already acquired it from being “gym-active” in the first place), and the speed she goes about between sets. But all in all, I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these DVDs!!!

Schwinn Delta Sport Dual-Suspension Mountain Bike Customer Review: Excellent bike
This bike is a great high-end bike at a walmart price. This is lighter than my daughter’s 20″ bike, and very smooth with the full suspension. I am not an avid biker, and will only use on the trails, but looks to be able to take whatever I could dish out. The seat post issue was a familiar one as noted by other reviewer, and what I have done is to take a hack saw and saw off about 3 inches from the bottom of the seat post, which allows you to lower the seat by, you guessed it, an extra 3 inches. Customer Review: Seatpost too long for size small
I bought size small (16″) but the seatpost is the same for all sizes (300 mm). Even at its lowest position, the seat is at least 32 inches from the pedal. I contacted Schwinn but they could not help me on this issue. A 250 mm seatpost would be ideal for size small. No other complaints so far.
